There were some wonderful conversations last year and the one between Pierre and Laura was a highlight. My students talked about that one for a while, especially what it meant to be a slave. I am hoping we will have a post from someone who went to Germany and Poland this summer with the Maine Holocaust Human Rights Center.

I am glad you are part of the group and can bring the resources of a librarian to it. Feel free to post resources that you know about and don't see here. In addition to creating a place for student, educators, and survivors and children of survivors to connect and share I hope to see the resources grow here.

Welcome Margaret. I hope as the school year begins we will have more teachers and their classes joining our group. Some of my students' work is scattered around on this site.

Announcement: Change in appearance - no ads

You will notice a change on our website. All ads have been removed. This was made possible through actions that Ning, Google, and the educaitonal community undertook on behalf of all educational nings which involve students. From my perspective this is a much appreciated action that they have taken.

Thank you,
Ernie Easter
