If you have not yet visited, the Holocaust Human Rights Center Michael Klahr Center located on the University of Maine Augusta campus is a great resource and well worth a trip over. Jackie Littlefield jmlittlefield@maine.edu has some great resources. http://www.hhrc.uma.edu/

Hi Debbie -
What a list of thoughtful questions. I have often wondered about some of the same ones also. A purpose of this site is to work towards raising awareness of current atrocities, educate about the past, and work towards preventing future genocides.

In order to appropriately answer your questions and to point you to other resources could you tell if you are a student, educator, or concerned citizen/learner? You can direct message me if you do not want to share that information publicly.

Thank you for your thoughts and concerns.

About Me:
Joining this network is a first for me but as a new student of the Holocaust, I am compelled to learn all that I can and hopefully one day I'll be able to share that knowledge as you (members) already do. This seems to be an amazing resource for information, as well as for support and kinship in the quest for remembrance of past heroes and villains and commitment to vigilance, continuous education and humane activism. Surprisingly, the more I learn about the Holocaust, the more I don't understand. All the more reason to keep researching... Thank you, in advance, for all the knowledge and wisdom you have to offer. I look forward to future interactions.

Many Blessings,
Debbie

Announcement: Change in appearance - no ads

You will notice a change on our website. All ads have been removed. This was made possible through actions that Ning, Google, and the educaitonal community undertook on behalf of all educational nings which involve students. From my perspective this is a much appreciated action that they have taken.

Thank you,
Ernie Easter
