Never Again: promoting Holocaust, genocide, and human rights awareness

A consequence of teaching in a small rural school with two grades in every classroom is following a two year curriculum cycle. I will be teaching World History this year which includes my unit on the Holocaust. I will be having my students register and they will be uploading their projects. I hope that the Ning community will have some rich conversations about the Holocaust with them. And I hope that some of you teachers will add your students to the Ning and allow them to become part of the conversation also. When the Ning was started by my students a year and a half ago those conversations with survivors and other teachers were a very rich part of the conversation and showed up in my end of the year evaluations with students when they answered the question, "What was the best thing we did this year?"

Announcement: Change in appearance - no ads

You will notice a change on our website. All ads have been removed. This was made possible through actions that Ning, Google, and the educaitonal community undertook on behalf of all educational nings which involve students. From my perspective this is a much appreciated action that they have taken.

Thank you,
Ernie Easter
